Wednesday

friends, networks, people, crowds.

i always liked philosophy. not much because of those "smart" people in past sharing "important" life visions, but because i can be one of the "smart" ones and leave my mind to play around, moreover if you have another mind the same and then the philosophy starts...
by being far from home and the life i have lived for more than 20 years, somehow have started to think of a meaning "friend".

with myself, i would say i am bad friend. yes i do have many networks and connections and people around me, but with all that there are times, that i am still alone. nothing sucks worse than feeling alone, no matter how many people are around. having a networks does not mean particularly to be friends, even more a close friends.

times changes, friends changes, true friends stays.

a time ago a friend of mine shared a question or his concern - why do "friends" show up and contact you only when they need something from you? this sentence somehow have stuck in my mind...been looking for an answer..."friends" are not friends...we like to call them thanks to globalization and the social networks magic, but they are turn into networks...

all in all, whenever you realize that something is wrong, you can change it and make it right, or as right as you feel it for yourself.

I've got to agree with you. A friend of ours once said something me failry related.
And whenever I think this mobile life of ours is pretty cool, makes us grow and know cultures and experience life from different sides of it... the downside to it is that it becomes way harder to build up and to grow real relationships.
I'm not sure it's just for lack of time, but also because we meet so many people... but at the same time could we be afraid to let ourselves go and attach to them because we know we'll be leaving soon?
