As life puts me together with awesome people, then thanks to friend of mine, i got to hear of a new shuttle service and with all the great story of him, i was encouraged to choose exactly this shuttle company. If the first impressions may not been the best, as from the story I was told there was nothing such existing. However still the transfer was fast, nice and all in all very pleasant ride. Plus I have to tell, that so far the best price from all the shuttles.
On the way back, well, that was a piece of story to tell.
As now I completely go with the first impression story of my friend. If usually transfers are into rush, as people want to be in airport on time or they rush to reach the home sooner, then this time thanks to I don`t know who`s planning, but none of us had to be in hurry, as we started our trip to airport at 7am, but soonest to catch the flight was at 13pm, plenty of time from Ljubljana to reach Venice. We could enjoy the trip to its maximum. First of all, movies are possible to watch while on way driving, they got to have some small collections of movies to choose. Or if you are not into movies, then you are welcome to pick and choose the music for your way.
As this sunday morning there were not many of travelers willing to go to Venice, then in the end there were just two of us in the van...and just after other girl was left in Trieste airport, I stayed all on my own in the shuttle. Almost like a private driver. Somehow we started to talk about life and in the end it turned out to be a great conversation of the mindsets and life and places. Other than that, i have to also say big thanks for the pit stop in somewhere in Italy and the morning coffee. Was not in my plans, but turned out to be just a perfect refreshing wake up stop.
All in all i tend to think that even shuttle services nowadays are not about just transfers or speed, but more over about the people, quality, service and just then comes the speed...we should rush way much less and enjoy the way inbetween more often.
